So. Very. Gross. We didn't stick around for the entrees. Their appetizers were gross... Scallops were under cooked and all you could taste was the over seasoning - just gross. The crab spinach risotto tasted like fish oil and over cooked rice that was sitting in liquid for too long and topped with canned spinach. Wow, guys... really?

Threw a surprise birthday party for PEM here and it went quite well. With his family and my friends we had a party of 9 and had reserved a table ahead of time so it could be set for the party. We were one of only 2 tables there at 7:00 on a Saturday night For appetizers most of ordered the butternut squash soup which was good and creamy and delicious. For dinner some ordered fish, some steak, I had the salmon which was perfectly done and so large I split with my girl friend and we both had plenty. PEM had the steak which although good was not served warm e nough. Although I forgot what we had for desserts we all enjoyed them. Service was good, although a little drawn out. Even with the party atmosphere it seemed rather lengthy. The wine selection was decent and our server tried very hard to be both formal and efficient. Restaurant.com offers great discounts for here so I purchased a $200 coupon for less then half price which made it much easier to pick up the tab for birthday boy and his mother. It's a pretty place and I wouldn't hesitate to eat here if I was staying at the Hilton again.

According to the reliable Merriam W. a "tangerine" is: a small, sweet fruit that is like an orange with a loose skin which is easy to remove : a deep orange-yellow color It is NOT: An establishment in a nice hotel that serves dishes piecemeal A restaurant that prepares boyfriend's Cobb salad with raw chicken A place that accepts the return of undercooked chicken from a Cobb salad, but merely grills chicken a bit more and puts "Cluckity Cluck" back on an infected salad A food poisoning episode destined to happen A dining room I will ever visit again. Side note: I complained about our meal/food poisoning and the Hilton agreed to recompense us for such a horrible visit. Please avoid at all costs until they can rectify a multitude of issues.

What a mistake! The food was horrible. Horrible. Horrible. If you eat here the only person you have to blame is yourself. You've been warned. I should've known as soon as I got the calamari. Nothing about it was fresh and it been fried at least once before it made its way to my table. The Caesar's salad was our second course and there was nothing wrong with it. Unfortunately it was the best part of our meal. It went straight downhill, and fast, from there. The chicken Florentine, and the filet mignon, and orange fish skewers were horrible. Seriously, you have all been warned, do not eat here!

Although the restaurant was empty, the service was slow. The setting was nice, but the food was average. I needed to ask for condiments and pickles for my burger because they were not brought out with the food.

Every girl wants to be spoiled by her man when it comes to celebrating an anniversary. This is exactly what the purpose of our visit was about. Finding the place was a hassle but upon walking in, I was impressed w the decor. Rich, elegant looking tables and wide open space flanked by floor to ceiling windows that were softened by texturized drapes that were opened to let in waves of natural light. I would have liked to have seen booths available as well as privacy seating for high profile customers and people celebrating intimate events; such as us and celebrating our anniversary. We arrived around 5pm and it didn't matter much that there wasn't any privacy seating, because we were the only people in the entire restaurant. We came in on a groupon voucher and the server was professional and gracious regardless of that. We ordered a bottle of Moët champagne, but they were out of stock. We got a bottle of Perrier champagne instead which was crisp and delicious. We ordered a sweet Thai chili beef skewers w grilled pineapple for the appetizer, and I got the fort de soto pasta dish and he got the sunset pasta dish. The sauces in both dishes were amazing, the pasta was said to be made fresh in house and the portion was huge. Whenever our champagne flute emptied, our server was right there to pour another one. It was nice to be catered to on our special day. Our check ended up being $163 for the bottle of champagne, the appetizer, both entrees and a to-go shrimp po' boy for later (which was also very tasty). The manager gave us a free snickers cheesecake dessert for celebrating our anniversary w them. This isn't a place that we can eat at often because of the prices being a bit richy, but I will celebrate special occasions w them again when they arise.

There are 3 clues for this restaurant... Clue #1: if the restaurant is near empty on a Saturday night...RUN!! Clue #2: if you overhear the other table complain about the freshness of their meal...RUN AWAY!!! Clue #3: if it takes 20 minutes for your server to come by your table to check on you....The restaurant gods are rolling in their graves!! My husband and I bought a restaurant.com gift certificate on a whim...referring to the three clues, our experience was awful. One of the dishes called for coconut risotto and all it was white rice with coconut shavings. The asparagus was so wilted it did not look appealing. We were shocked the bill was $70 and with the my certificate, we paid $50 for a meal that was absurdly ridiculous. I'm so shocked that a hotel like the hilton will allow the type of food and service be in associated with the chain. St. Pete has a lot of eateries, if you're looking into this restaurant...RUN AWAY!!!!!

This is the resrurant inside the Hilton, It has really good food really however slow service. I ordered a bacon cheese burger it didn't have the bacon on it, but they brought me out a lot of bacon to make up for it. good price except for the little bit slow service, overall it was a great experience
